Traditional German Candy was founded in 2012 in order to participate for the first time at the Vancouver Christmas Market. Elisa and Max, the owners of the company, are exciting to offer for the first time traditional hard candies made in Germany to Vancouverites. We thoroughly believe in the quality of our suppliers’ products and the focus of incorporating natural ingredients.

We are opposing any form of genetically modified food and believe in healthy food products as such. Healthy nutrition must not exclude little sweets as long as they are consumed, as with anything, in moderation.

Max Szelies

Max is the man behind the numbers and without him this candy business wouldn’t exist. He developed the idea having a candy hut at the Vancouver Christmas Market in the early days of 2012. Max is the leading head and a big talent organizing all nessesary parts a business needs. Making lists and excel are his best friends. Reliable, strong minded, realistic.

Elisa Koeppen

Elisa is our talent for graphic design and decorations. She created almost the whole corporate design, including our sweet logo, and planned appearance of the christmas market hut. With her soft skills as a certified life coach she has a fun bu t efficient work style. She also manages our retail team and is always there when you need her.
